Extracting blackheads or blocked pores can be a constant challenge. This is one of the most important processes when professionally treating the skin. Trying to lift plugs from the ostium when tissue is collapsed due to dehydration prohibits effective extractions.

With skin becoming more and more desensitized and with the rise in rosacea, learning techniques for effective follicular cleaning is imperative. This class will teach how to identify material lodge in the follicle, how to properly prepare the skin for deep pore cleansing, what should be extracted and /or not, as well as easy - safe extraction techniques.

We will also discuss the restrictions outlined by your state for extraction procedures.

Participants will practice techniques demonstrated in class.
